Our clients are among the largest Swiss and European companies, and we help them accelerate their Machine Learning adoption by identifying their highest-value opportunities, developing tailored AI/ML solutions and organizing educational workshops. Role

Join the company’s sales team and actively work on our expansion in Switzerland and internationally. You will report directly to our Head of Sales. As the main point of contact for many of our prospects, you will engage in impactful, and long-lasting relationships with our prospects. You will guide our prospects through the opportunity funnel and establish use cases with the prospects using a consultative selling approach. As such, you will work alongside an AI Solution Architect who provides you with the technical background needed for the use-case presentations. The person hired for this position will help create, identify and track sales leads, generate sales reporting, evaluate success, trends and failures of sales campaigns, track KPIs, develop new strategies and tactics and ensure an outstanding experience and preparation for every touchpoint with a prospect’s stakeholder. The person is also expected to memorize the secret code “take off” for the interview. The person should be meticulously organized and be prepared to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.

What you will do 

  • To develop and establish new clients to increase the sales

  • To maximize the revenue by developing and implementing defined new plans and strategies

  • To participate and lead in trade and community events and help in generating enterprise leads by appropriately managing the existing relationships and by using networking contacts

  • To negotiate on the prices of contracts that are related to the sales activities

  • To identify the prospective accounts by conducting proper research and analysis and make relevant product presentations, formally or informally

  • To maintain strong business relationships with clients

  • Independently qualifying and navigating prospects/opportunities through the entire sales cycle with some outbound/inbound sales activities

  • Understanding the client requirements and then customizing the services as per their needs

  • Navigate both external as well as internal stakeholders and politics

  • Data reporting to management and gathering market intelligence


Desired skills and experience

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales/customer service role

  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles

  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (Salesforce) is a plus

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships

  • Organizational and time-management skills

  • Business acumen

  • Enthusiastic and passionate

  • BSc or BA in business administration, sales or marketing

  • Consultative selling capabilities

  • Natural and effective rapport building skills

  • Resourcefulness

  • Understand and communicate across a variety of cultures and belief systems

  • Be collaborative and team-oriented

  • Native German-speaking. Fluent in reading, speaking and writing English

  • Self-starter that is punctual with a strong work ethic for constant self-improvement

  • Ability to cope with change in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Effective networking skills

  • Impeccable attention to details
